The Sanpete Gunners, a baseball team made up of boys ages 13 and under from Sanpete County, won the championship at the Redneck Rumble in Nephi on June 24 and 25. Coach Kevin Daniels said that the team went 4-0, beating three teams from the Wasatch Front. Coaches for the team are Bryson Jensen, Kevin Daniels, Jaden Sorenson and Shane Knudsen. Team members are Zachary Blackham, Porter Daniels, Daxton Knudsen, Landry Edwards, Dillon Dyreng, Waylon Sorenson, Brayden Christiansen, Jumper Jensen, Brogan Brailsford and Boston Hatch.
