Gunnison seniors set annual fall breakfast event

The Gunnison Valley senior citizens are looking forward towards getting together for the Senior’s Annual Fall Breakfast.
On the menu will be sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, fruit cup, milk, and orange juice. The board members will be preparing all of the meal. NO POTLUCKS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS MEAL. All you need are your dishes.
A donation would be appreciated to help with the meal. It will be held next Monday, Sept.21 at 6 p.m. at the Gunnison City Hall in the Senior Citizens Center. Please come and join them.
The social last month brought close to 60 seniors to enjoy the sweet and sour chicken meal. Taunya and Russell Otten from Barex Dairy donated strawberry and chocolate milk in bottles for the meal that evening.
Just a reminder: The quilting room is open on Tuesday and on Thursday mornings for anyone wanting to help quilt. Board member Kathy Brown makes sure there’s always quilts in the quilting room. If you quilt, come on out and join them. The money made from the quilts help run the senior citizens program.
