Jay L. Olson, a lifelong resident of Fountain Green, will celebrate his 90th birthday on Jan. 13, 2018. He was born in 1928 to Lawrence P. and Mabel L. Olsen. He has been a sheep rancher and farmer his entire life.
He married his sweetheart Marva Belliston Olsen Nov. 10, 1948, and they will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this year.
One of the highlights of their lives was the opportunity to serve for 12 years together in the Manti Temple.
They are the proud parents of seven children, 26 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
