Justin Walter Wade Gibson

Justin Walter Wade Gibson died July 9, 2022 in Centerfield, Utah after a battle with cancer.

He was born Sept. 23, 1971 in Salt Lake City, the youngest child of Walter and Collette Machin Gibson

He grew up in younger years in Bluffdale, moving to Manti as a teenager.
Justin was an uncle before he was born and was known as Unc, Uncle Butthole and Gruncle Justin.

Justin worked as a caretaker for adults with disabilities and served them with compassion and dignity, being named Caregiver of the Year in 2008.

He married Lea Hansen in 1995, they later divorced. During their marriage they became parents to Kodi Nicole Gibson.

Kodi was truly the love of his life, his world was that little girl. He was a devoted father.

Justin is survived by his daughter Kodi Nicole Gibson of Fountain Green; sisters Bridget Gibson, Eureka; Melody (Robert) Jeffs, Gunnison; Tracey (Mike) Helton of Centerfield, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Justin will be greatly missed and was loved by so many.

A celebration of life will be held on July 24 at 2 p.m. at the Bldg78, 178 South Main, Gunnison.
