Leonard McCosh and JoAnn DeLaney (formally of Blanding, Utah) will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary June 18 at the Ephraim Stake Center Cultural Hall of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 400 East Center street in Ephraim.

This will be similar to a wedding reception they never had when they were married. This event will be hosted by their daughter with cake and refreshments starting at 6 p.m. followed by live music and dancing from 7-9 p.m. Dancing was key to their courtship.
They have lived in Ephraim almost 20 years, but the following quote really summarizes their life together since they were married 65 years ago.
“Life is just like an oldtime rail journey … delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.”
