A man is riding his lawn mower 439 miles across Utah to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The man, Scott Morgan, will be recreating his previous lawn mower ride across Utah for charity.

Last year, Morgan drove his lawn mower across Utah to raise money for Shriners Hospital for Children through his “Mowing 4 Miracles” event. The money raised went directly to patient care and the affected families’ needs.

The money raised this year for the Ronald McDonald House will be going towards a new family room at the Intermountain Hospital in Lehi, Utah. There are currently Ephraim families staying at the main Ronald McDonald House.

Rolling for Ronald recently attended the Ronald McDonald House Charities Spirit of Children Gala, receiving a total of $165,100 in private donations.

Morgan’s goal is to reach $16,000 in public donations during his ride across the state. The ride—which will be at 7 miles per hour will run from May 14 to 23.

He will arrive in Ephraim at the Canyon View Park amphitheater on May 14 at about 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to come out and listen to Morgan speak about his ride.

His arrival will be celebrated with the gathering of local food trucks and a free performance by the Phat Old Professors.

There are three ways to donate: at the event through a QR code, with cash or with a check, or at the following link https://rmhcslc.harnessapp.com/wv2/campaign/5873
