Manti firefighters train on aerial ladder

Manti City firefighters climbed the department’s 102-foot aerial ladder during a recent nighttime training exercise focused on responding to a fire in a large building. Wearing full protective gear, firefighters climbed to the top of the nearly vertical ladder before descending. Manti fire fighter Peter Mancuso said the department conducts training twice a month to keep equipment in working order and improve firefighters’ readiness for emergencies.
