Matt Harris is covering his sixth season of high school sports in Sanpete County.
He has earned multiple awards in this endeavor at the state level and has written for various news outlets throughout the state of Utah. Most recently, Matt was recognized for “Best Sports Story” in the state of Utah in 2020 for live coverage of the Manti Templars 2019-2020 boys’ basketball championship.
Matt currently resides in northern Utah with his wife and children, and he is finishing a degree in multimedia journalism at Weber State University. He works remotely for the Messenger/Gazette, covering games through livestream and other electronic sources.
