MANTI—The Miracle Theatre has been hosting an acting class since September and now it’s time to show off their work, said Nanette Bramwell, owner of the Miracle Theatre.

So a free performance, featuring monologues, poems and a scene from their upcoming show, “Box and Cox,” will be held in the Eva Beal Auditorium in Manti at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28. The evening will last about 45 minutes and is open to the public.

“Who knows, maybe you will even want to join us for a future performance, or get involved in the acting class yourself,” Bramwell said.

The one-act comedy written by John Maddison Morton, Esq. was published in 1847 and is still funny today, Bramwell said. It is the story of an unscrupulous landlady who rents out one apartment to two people with opposite schedules. This arrangement can only work for so long, and then suspicions and much hilarity ensue.
