Sanpete County ‘Day of Service’ week of Sept. 5-10

Fred Taukeiaho, Kort and Colette Cox, all of Manti, spend Saturday morning cleaning up around the Sanpete County Fairgrounds as part of the Day of Service on Saturday, Sept. 10. The event marks the anniversary of 9-11-2001, when the World Trade Center in New York was attacked.

Miss Mt. Pleasant Journey Toomey stoops to pick up trash with a group of fellow royalty members and schoolmates during a service cleanup event at the walking trail on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Although the event was a few days early, it was intended to mark the Day of Service.
