Thursday, Sept. 17–Saturday, Sept. 19

Sanpete Community Theater play, “Next to Normal”—The Sanpete Community Theater will be producing “Next to Normal” in the Eva Beal Auditorium, 50 S. Main St., Manti. The production will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door.

Thursday, Sept. 17–Saturday, Sept. 19

Ephraim Temple Open House—This is the final week to tour the Ephraim Temple. Tours are free and last approximately 45 minutes. No tickets or reservations are required. The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 200 N. 400 East in Ephraim.

Thursday, Sept. 17

Constitution Day Celebration—The Constitution Party of Sanpete County, with the help of Spring City Citizen Corps, will be holding a celebration of the ratification of America’s Constitution in Spring City at 45 S. 100 East in the ballroom at 7 p.m. David Allen, an accomplished scientist and observer of life and history, will be presenting insights on the sacredness and great importance of our founding documents. Refreshments will be served after the presentation.

Thursday, Sept. 17–Friday, Sept. 18

Fall Mountain UTV/ATV Run—Enjoy two days of awesome rides on the famous Manti Mountain Arapeen Trail system. Registration includes two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner, and an ATV Run shirt. The center of operations for registration, breakfast, and ride departures will be at the Manti City Sports Park, 998 N. 100 East. For more information, call Manti City at (435) 835-2401.

Friday, Sept. 18

Sanpete Recovery Day—Sanpete S.A.F.E. Events is hosting its 4th Annual Recovery Day at the Mt. Pleasant City Park from 5 to 9 p.m. This is a free community celebration for healing and connection during recovery. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the free food, live music, and inspiring speakers, whether they are in recovery, know someone who is in recovery, or just want a stronger community.

Saturday, Sept. 19

Snow College Homecoming—Snow College welcomes Badgers, alumni, and the entire community to enjoy its homecoming festivities. Events start at 12 p.m. with a “Golden Badger Reunion” for those who graduated 50 or more years ago. The parade will start at 4 p.m. and the tailgate will follow at 5 p.m. The night will then wrap up with the football game vs. Trinity Valley at 7 p.m. For more information, visit snow.edu/homecoming.

Sunday, Sept. 20

Gunnison Stake Conference Youth Session—The Youth Session for the Gunnison Stake Conference will take place at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

Snow College Planetarium—The planetarium is hosting a Science Night with shows at 6:30, 7, and 7:30 p.m. Each show is 30 minutes long and tickets are not needed for this activity. At 8 p.m., the planetarium will feature “Galileo: The Power of the Telescope”; tickets are required for this show. Reserve tickets at snow.edu/academics/science_math/planetarium.

Wednesday, Sept. 23–Thursday, Sept. 24

Manti Elementary School—Manti Elementary School is hosting parent-teacher conferences. These meetings are held to help parents understand how their children are doing in school and help them access extra support if needed.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Gunnison Stake Conference Adult Session—The Adult Session for the Gunnison Stake Conference will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Moroni City Cornhole Tournament—Head over to Moroni for a fun evening filled with cornhole and cash prizes! The tournament starts at 6 p.m. at the Center Street Ball Park. Entry fee is $30. To preregister, call (435) 436-8359.

Saturday, Sept. 26–Sunday, Sept. 27

Utah Versatility Ranch Horse Association Show—The ConToy Arena in Mt. Pleasant will host the final show of the UVRHA season. Saturday’s events will start at 7:30 a.m. and include ranch rail, ranch riding, and trail. On Sunday, the show starts at 8 a.m. with ranch cutting, fencework, and reining. Gunnison Stake Conference—The Gunnison Stake Conference will hold its Priesthood Leadership Meeting from 8 to 9:15 a.m., followed by the General Session from 10 a.m. to noon.
