Sanpete County natives named on college honor rolls

                ST. GEORGE – Twenty-four students from Sanpete County were among the 2,627 students named to the Dixie State University Honor Roll for the 2021 fall semester.

                A total of 2,267 students were named to the university’s honor roll. Another 1,212 students made the President’s List, and 1,415 students were named to the Dean’s List.

                To be eligible for the Dixie State University Honor Roll, students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours. Those obtaining a 3.9 or higher GPA earn a spot on the President’s List. Students earning a GPA between 3.5 and 3.8 are placed on the Dean’s List.

                The following 24 students from Sanpete County were included on the honor roll:

GUNNISON

               Nicole Mecham, Sarah Rasmussen, Kimberly Skinner, Alyssa Burrell, and Braydon Burrell.

NORTH SANPETE

               Mckelle Davis, Payton Pherson, Nakiah Taylor, Addelyn Brotherson, Emma Wrightman, Jedediah Morris, Ellie Rosenlund, Dalton Johnson, Gage Cox, Anna Anderson, Nicholas Honey, and Taylor Lee.

MANTI

               Alexis Jaussi, Madison Cox, Jamie Albee, Abby Larsen, and Thomas McFarlane.

                The University of Utah also released its Dean’s List for fall semester. Making the list was Murray Poulson of Gunnison, who is majoring in accounting and information systems.
