EPHRAIM— Snow College recently named the 2022 employ- ees of the semester. Along with the recognition, the selection committee had much praise for the winners.
Carlie Fowles, assistant controller

The selection committee said Fowles makes the college a fun place to be. She loves her work in the controller’s office and loves Snow College. She does what’s necessary to complete the tasks, including working long hours and weekends when needed.
During recent changes to the chart of accounts, she set up a personalized training area in the controller’s office. She was there to help everyone better understand changes, why those changes occurred and what it meant for them.
She trains student workers and has done such a good job that many are interested in coming back after they complete their degrees to work in the controller’s office.
Heidi Stringham, director of operations and external affairs, Richfield Campus

The committee said Stringham is the glue that holds the Richfield campus together. She helps facilitate many meetings, projects and events. She is knowledgeable and detail-oriented.
According to the selection committee, Stringham shows interest in students, faculty and staff in all that she does. She coordinates graduation, back- to-school events and employee notifications.
She has a good relationship with all of the Six-County public school superintendents and principals, developed through meetings and correspondence.
Staci Taylor, risk manage- ment/Title IX officer

Taylor shows enthusiasm for her job by jumping into all situations, the selection committee reports. Some pretty tough situations can creep up. She doesn’t shy away but addresses them head on.
According to the selection committee, Taylor has a caring heart. She cares about the students, both those who are victims in a situation and those who are accused. She looks for ways to support each party. She works long hours because she cares about the school and its students.
The selection committee describes Taylor as easy to talk with and said her quiet voice puts everyone at ease. She is willing to support anyone and everyone, particularly those who need the most support.
