Snow hosting Skyline Family Health Expo

EPHRAIM—Snow College will hosts the fourth annual Skyline Family Health Expo on Saturday with opportunities to race or walk a 5K, bike a 15K, and learn about healthy living in classes and workshops.

The expo will be at the Snow College Business Building and is a partnership between Snow College Community Education and SnowFit

Anyone wishing to participate in the race, walk or bike ride needs to register at 7 a.m. Saturday morning. The cost is $15 for an individual, or $10 each for two or more entries in a family.

Race T-shirts and gift bags are included with the registration,

At 7:30 a.m., there will be a 1-mile fun run. The 5K race/walk and 15k bike events begin at 8 a.m.

From 8:30-9:30, there will be a free breakfast for race participants and from 9-10 a.m. a free breakfast will be served for general expo attendees.

A race awards ceremony will be held at 9 a.m..

Some of the other activities and entertainment includes be eye exams sponsored by the Lion’s Club, health testing, live music, massage chairs, and kids games and prizes.

Yoga, Zumba and kickboxing classes will also be held throughout the day.

All health classes will be held in the business building.

Several speakers will be at the expo, including Jan Chamberlain, Jacque Sorenson and Dr. Greg Bosshard, DC, MS.
