Snow softball off to a rocky start

HENDERSON—The Snow College softball team showcased their preseason work with an early set of games this year, coming away with a 2-3 record in Henderson, Nev.
The Lady Badgers struggled out of the gate with losses against Arizona Western and Eastern Arizona, falling 8-3 and 10-7, respectively, before picking up wins against Central Arizona, 2-1, and Odessa, 12-10. Snow dropped its final game of the preseason invitational against Yavapai College, 11-5.
Snow finished last season as one of its most successful ones ever, going 30-21 while accruing several player honors. It looks to continue the upward trend this season.
The real start of the Lady Badgers’ softball season will be in early March.
