TWIN FALLS, Ida.—The Snow College men’s basketball team kept rolling this past week, winning two games in Twin Falls, Idaho, to run their record to 13-0.

The Badgers defeated Central Wyoming on Friday, 78-59, and then defeated the Impact Academy on Saturday, 131-80.

In both games, leading Badger scorer Truman Moore continued with his steady play; he scored 18 points against both Central Wyoming and Impact Academy. “Truman played well in both games, and it was a team effort to grind out the W’s,” according to Head Coach Rob Nielson.

But in the second game, it was Logan Hokanson’s 34 points game that propelled the Badgers past Impact; for his efforts, Hokanson was named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Hokanson posted 42 points over both games, hitting an incredible 10-13 from three-point range. “When Logan gets hot, it doesn’t matter who’s defending him,” said Nielson. “He hit deep shots, and on-the-line shots. He was shooting like we have seen in practice. It was good to see it in a game!”

Two weeks ago, the Badgers entered the national rankings for the first time this year, coming in at No. 20. With the win streak continuing, that ranking is bound to rise.

The Badgers will take off a week before participating in the Fiesta Bowl Tournament in Mesa, Arizona, on Dec. 27-29.
