EPHRAIM—Snow’s football team has been invited to one of the top junior college bowls in the nation.

The Badgers, No. 6 in the rankings, will take on Blinn College of Texas, ranked No. 10, in the El Toro Bowl at Veterans Stadium in Yuma, Ariz., on Dec. 2 at 1:00 p.m., according to the Snow College press release announcing Snow’s acceptance of the bowl invitation.

Snow (9-1) won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) title in 1985 and competed in national title games in 2007 and 2008.

The Badgers finished the 2017 season with a 5-1 league record—their lone loss was to No. 2 Arizona Western by two points, 29-27.

Located in Brenham, Texas, the Buccaneers of Blinn (6-3) have won four national titles, with the last one in 2009.

The El Toro Bowl will feature a matchup of two of the top rushing teams in the nation.

This season, Snow scored 50.9 points per game, which is the best in the nation.

The Badgers are fourth in the nation in rushing yards per game, averaging 287.2.

Snow’s running back D’Arman Notoa scored 15 touchdowns on the ground, averaging 110.3 yards per game and 7.2 yards per carry.

Badger Jaylen Warren averaged 97.6 yards per game and 7.6 yards per carry, with eight touchdowns.
