Lady Badgers notch three more
wins, streak now at eight victories

CASPER, WYO.—Snow College Women’s basketball team won twice at the Pizza Hut Invitational last weekend and continued their winning streak with another win the day following.
The Lady Badgers first battled against Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) on Thursday, Nov. 16, which ended in victory, 107-66.
They finished the invitational on Friday, Nov. 17, with another win against Casper College, 59-51.
Then on Saturday, Nov. 18, the Lady Badgers continued victorious when they won 80-52 against Northeastern Junior College (NJC).
With Snow’s great teamwork and shooting in Thursday’s 107-66 triumphant victory against WWCC, four of the Lady Badgers were in double figures.
Freshman Megan Carr led the team with 28 points, with sophomore Harley Hansen right behind her with 25 points.
Sophomore Kayla Hugie contributed 14 points, and freshman Savannah Domgaard added 12 points to the game.
Friday’s game against Casper College continued the Snow College winning streak. Hugie led the team with 15 points, and Hansen contributed 13 points to the game.
Saturday’s game against NJC concluded Snow’s week with another victory.
Hugie led the team once again, this time with 17 points. Five of these baskets were shot from the three-point range. Sophomore Jazmin Chavez contributed 15 points, Carr 14 and freshman Paige Farnsworth 11 points.
Snow College Women’s basketball started out their season with a loss, yet they haven’t lost once since. This week they increased their winning streak to an impressive streak of eight games in a row.
The Lady Badgers will be competing in the Willow Creek Inn Invitational held at home in Ephraim.
They will start out against Northwest Kansas Tech on Thursday, Nov. 30, then battle Pima Community College on Friday, Dec. 1, and will finish their weekend against the Colorado Springs Ballers on Saturday, Dec. 2.
