10-20-2016
A section of U.S. 89 between Mt. Pleasant and Fairview was shut down in both directions for about four hours on Monday after two big rigs collided. According to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), the multi-vehicle accident happened around noon and involved the two semis and a pickup truck. The UHP say the investigation into the accident is in the early stages, but no fatalities or critical injuries were reported, although first-responders had to extract one man from the wreckage.
