Bulldogs fight hard but

fall to Beavers 40-58

BEAVER—The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs traveled to Beaver High on Friday in a Region 18 tilt, and fell to the Beavers 40-58.

The game was a tight affair through the first half, as the Bulldogs were only down five at the half. However, the Beavers pulled away in the second half, eventually winning 40-58. Mason Bartholomew led the Bulldogs with 19 points, two rebounds and two assists, followed by Wyatt Young with 10 points.

The loss left the Bulldogs at 3-2 in Region 18, 6-8 overall, and still in the hunt for a playoff spot at the end of the season.

The Bulldogs played this week on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at North Sevier (score unavailable), and will play on Friday, Jan. 19 at Millard.
