FAIRVIEW—North Sanpete-based TV and internet provider Centracom is helping local schools get their sporting events available live online with their streaming platform Local10.tv.
“We have created the best streaming platform and have opened it for use by our local schools,” said Nate Palmer, vice president of marketing for CentraCom and the Local10.tv executive producer.
Palmer says CentraCom has been instrumental in assisting many local schools with the creation of the exciting broadcasting programs. Recently the company streamed every game of the Utah High School Activities Association 2A and 3A basketball tournament.
“We have worked hard to provide local high school events streaming live to everyone,” Palmer said.
According to Palmer, Richfield High School, Juab High School, Delta High School, Millard High School and North Sanpete High School are using the CentraCom streaming service to broadcast many student productions and events.
Sporting events on the streaming platform can be viewed live on the website, as well as accessed in an archive of previous games.
