Lyle Kump, 81, passed away on Aug. 31, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lyle Kump

Lyle was born on April 27, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant, to Lyle Kump and Val Brotherson Kump.

After Lyle graduated from high school, he and his friend joined the United States Army. He was stationed in Europe and loved his time in the service. He was honorably discharged and returned home to Utah where he learned the plumbing trade and worked as a journeyman plumber his entire career.

Lyle loved relaxing outdoors, camping, off-roading, shooting and sitting on the patio with his family and a nice cold beer sharing his quick wit and awesome sense of humor. He was a very tal- ented woodworker he enjoyed spending time in his shop creating beautiful pieces of furniture. He also loved their dog, Niki, and their cat Milli.

After years of love and adventures, he married Cris Poynor in Eureka, Nevada on July 11, 2008. They loved each other unconditionally and built a wonderful life together.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Cris Poynor Kump, his stepchildren, Quinn (Emilee) Poynor and Jeannie (Ray) Fox; his grandsons, Dalton (Alex) Poynor and Kaleb Frankford; his great-granddaughter, Brinlee Poynor; his sister, Sherry Holder; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers Tom Kump and Bob Kump; and his sister Donna Sorensen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at http://www.moapaval- leymortuary.com.
