On Tuesday, Oct. 13, the Manti seventh-grade football team raked leaves at homes along North Main Street instead of holding practice. This was Coach Fred Taukeiaho’s way of reminding the players the importance of helping the community along with being good football players, an assistant said. This Saturday at 3 p.m. the team will face Beaver for the championship at Gunnison Valley High School. Their record this season is five wins and three losses.
