New Manti Pharmacy at 46 N. Main, which opened Monday through the Gunnison Valley Hospital.
Michael McQuivey will be running the new Manti Pharmacy through the Gunnison Valley Hospital.

MANTI—The Manti community once again has a pharmacy open for business. Gunnison Valley Hospital opened the doors to its Manti Pharmacy, located inside the Main Street Family Clinic at 46 North Main, on Jan. 10, 2022.

The new pharmacy serves as an example of Gunnison Valley Hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services, close to home. A local pharmacy is essential for residents to receive timely and convenient care.

The Manti Pharmacy will provide free blood pressure checks, quick prescription refills and a knowledgeable pharmacist to address any questions. It will be especially beneficial for patients of the Main Street Family Clinic, as they can now get their prescriptions filled immediately following an appointment.

“The Manti Pharmacy is an important connection between our hospital and the community,” said Brenda Bartholomew, chief executive officer at Gunnison Valley Hospital. “It will build on the personalized care that we take great pride in.”

The new pharmacy will be overseen by Pharmacist Michael McQuivey. McQuivey previously served as the pharmacy manager at the recently closed Manti Intermountain Pharmacy for the last decade. He has been practicing professionally for more than 20 years.

“For rural communities, like ours, access can be a major complication,” said McQuivey. “The nearest CVS is over an hour away by car, so this pharmacy is critical. I’m grateful Gunnison Valley Hospital recognizes that, and I look forward to continuing to serve the Manti community.”

The Manti Pharmacy’s operating hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for lunch. Delivery is available within Manti City limits and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, fill a prescription, or learn more, call 435-835-7250.

Gunnison Valley Hospital is a critical-access hospital that provides personalized care and cutting-edge technology while preserving its roots in the community.
