Manti Elementary School — Manti Elementary School will hold parent-teacher conferences Sept. 23-24 to help parents understand how their children are doing and connect them with additional support as needed.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Moroni City Cornhole Tournament — The tournament begins at 6 p.m. at Center Street Ball Park, with cash prizes. Entry is $30. To preregister, call (435) 436-8359.

National Alpaca Farm Day — Dizzy Alpaca Fibers and Farm will offer free tours, alpaca-related activities, product sales and live demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 177 South 100 East in Sterling. For more information, email dizzyalpaca@gmail.com.

Saturday, Sept. 26-Sunday, Sept. 27

Utah Versatility Ranch Horse Association Show — The ConToy Arena in Mt. Pleasant will host the final show of the UVRHA season. Saturday events begin at 7:30 a.m. and include ranch rail, ranch riding and trail. Sunday events begin at 8 a.m. and include ranch cutting, fencework and reining. Sunday, Sept. 27

Rehearsals for Handel’s Messiah — Rehearsals for the 93rd annual performance begin Sept. 27 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Choir Room M147 at the Eccles Center. The Central Utah Master Chorale welcomes singers ages 16 and older; no audition is required. Participants must bring their own music and attend at least eight of the 10 rehearsals. Monday, Sept. 28

Jordan World Glow Circus — The Jordan World Glow Circus begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Sanpete County Fairgrounds in Manti. Tickets are available at jordancircus.com, by calling (941) 870-7444 or at the gate one hour before the show.

Thursday, Oct. 1

SEBRA Barrel Race — Sanpitch Events will host its SEBRA Barrel Racing Jackpot at the ConToy Arena in Mt. Pleasant on the first and third Thursdays of each month through April. The races are open to everyone. Entries are accepted online or at the gate beginning at 5:15 p.m. Events include open, youth and mini races, as well as pole bending. Friday, Oct. 2-Saturday, Oct. 3

Spring City After Dark — Baxter Manor and Spring City Main Street Alliance will offer history and cemetery tours throughout October. Tours begin at 6:30 p.m. at Baxter Manor, 12 W. 200 North in Spring City, and include hayrides to and from the cemeteries, local history and legends. Local businesses will be open afterward for treats and dining. Tickets are $25 per person; a portion of the proceeds will support a historical marquee and memorial display at Old Pioneer Cemetery. Friday, Oct. 2-Saturday, Oct. 3

Central Utah 2-Man Shootout — Palisade State Golf Course will host a two-man scramble Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. Cove View Golf Course will host a two-person best-ball Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. Entry is $150 per person or $300 per team. Payouts will be awarded each day, with additional payouts for the top overall team. Call either course to register.

Arapeen OHV Trail — The fourth annual Autumn Jeep Adventure will take participants along Utah’s Skyline Drive. On the first day, a guided ride will travel from Fairview to Ephraim, with scenic stops. On the second day, participants can explore Manti and Mayfield canyons and the 600-mile Arapeen OHV Trail System on their own. Thursday, Oct. 8

Manti Elementary 1-Mile Fun Run — Manti Elementary School will hold a fundraiser behind the school. Registration begins at 5 p.m., and the run starts at 5:30 p.m. Suggested donations are $5 per person or $25 per family. A bake sale and raffle will also be held. Each runner receives one free raffle ticket; additional tickets cost $1. Raffle prizes include local-business gift certificates and baskets, a bike helmet, car-wash passes, lawn care, movie passes and a photo session.
