EPHRAIM — You only have until tomorrow to sign up for Leadercast, the world’s largest one-day leadership conference.

Originating in Atlanta and simulcast to hundreds of locations around the world, Leadercast will be hosted in Ephraim by Snow College on May 5, 2017.

Snow College just announced that the registration deadline for early bird tickets has been extended to tomorrow.

“We want to ensure that our local business and community leaders get into the event,” said Alan Christensen of Snow College’s office of the Utah Small Business Development Center. “We are working to make the event as affordable as possible which is why the deadline has been extended.”

According to Christensen, last year after the event was promoted broadly, people from throughout Utah and parts of Idaho registered. The college reports that nearly half of the seats are already taken. To make what Christensen calls “a tremendous investment in a business’s success” more affordable, Snow College’s Custom Fit Training program has arranged to cover 50 percent of the cost of admission for eligible businesses in the six-county region.

The college has also sought sponsorship to help make Leadercast scholarships for educators and students available.

The theme of this year’s conference is, “Powered by Purpose.”  The conference’s goal is to provide practical solutions for leaders to address challenges of motivation and engagement among their team and employees.

Key speakers –leaders in their fields – will make presentations to more than 400 people anticipated to participate in the Snow-hosted Leadercast, and the more than 120,000 people who will attend the event live in Atlanta or at hundreds of other simulcast locations in more than 20 countries.

A few of the speakers whose presentations will be simulcast from Atlanta to Ephraim include Tyler Perry (director, playwright, screenwriter, producer, actor, author and entrepreneur), Daniel Pink (behavioral science expert, best-selling author and host of Crowd Control), and Suzy Welch (author, TV commentator and business journalist).

Leadercast is open to the public. More information about the event is available at www.Snow.edu/leadercast. Businesses interested in the Custom Fit Training partnership to reduce their cost by 50 percent may find details at the online ticket sales portal or call (435) 283-7376.
