Incumbent Stacey Goble of Mt. Pleasant held off the challenge of Dan Rasmussen to remain on the North Sanpete School District board by claiming 752 votes (59 percent) to Rasmussen’s 517 votes (41 percent).
Goble says she wanted to be re-elected so she can make a difference in children’s education. “I believe that we have to be proactive in every child’s educational experience, so each one can become college- and career- ready.
Goble says she loves serving the community, and will do her best to uphold high standards while giving the children in the district the best education possible in a safe environment.
After hearing voting results, Goble said, “It is a privilege to serve in our community and give back to the community that has given me so much. I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and I look forward to continuing with the successes we have had and our upcoming plans.”
