GUNNISON—At its meeting July 15, the Gunnison City Council learned about a problem that arose in drilling the Tarr Canyon Well. The problem could cost the city extra money.
MANTI—The Manti City Council took several actions at its July 15 meeting that directly affect daily life, future growth, water reliability and community pride.
FAIRVIEW—A new book club is starting at the Fairview City Library. The book club, named Books and Bites, will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month. A new book will be featured each month, and snacks that relate to the book will be served. The library is located at 75 S. State St in Fairview.
GUNNISON-Jason Adamson was sworn in as commander of American Legion Post 105 for Centerfield/Gunnison Valley during a ceremony Monday, July 13. Harry Kern was also sworn in as sergeant at arms for the post.
