Reflections contest winners
announced at middle school

EPHRAIM—Nine Ephraim Middle School students were recently recognized as winners in the annual PTA Reflections contest.

On Nov. 22, they were honored in a lunchtime ceremony at the school.

The students represented this year’s theme “Within Reach” in various media, including visual arts, photography, dance, film, literature, literacy and 3-D art.

Two students, sixth grader Carrie Everitt and eighth grader Sarah Everitt, were winners in three categories each. Carrie won in visual arts, photography and dance. Sarah received awards in photography, literacy and 3-D art.

The other sixth-grade winners were Klayton Carlisle, visual arts; Mateo Petersen, film; and Anna Jones, film.

Seventh graders Kaystan Larsen and Lezly Mendez won awards in literature. Brynlee Wathen was recognized in the visual arts category.

Eighth grader Bethany Christensen won in the film category.
